Sustainable Development Goals : Why data are important for 17 SDGs?

17 Goals with 169 targets and 230 indicators need huge data. Unlike the MDGs, the SDGs focus on broader sources taking into account Big Data, Citizen Generated Data, Geospatial and Earth observation Data, Open Data and more…
But how to get the quality data ? Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data (GPSDD) is helping countries in this process. From 11th to 12th December 2019 in Lome, a mission of GPSDD organized a workshop of stakeholders of environmental departement of Togo. This workshop was focus on “Bulding a Data Ecosystem to address Environmental Data gaps in Togo.
